All about Customer credit checks and warnings

This preference can be found in Don't perform credit checks or warnings for this customer. This does not affect whether other customers have credit checks performed - it will only affect the customer which you have selected.

This preference can be found in the Perform credit terms checks. This option must be selected for any credit terms checks to be performed for any customer.

This preference can be found in the Don’t perform any credit checks when dispatching. Selecting this option will mean that while credit checks can still be performed on other forms such as Sales orders, they will not be performed on Dispatches.

This preference can be found in the Perform stop credit check on customers when creating new jobs. Selecting this option will mean that when new Jobs are created, a Stop credit check for the relevant Customer will be performed.

YES/NO

Indicates whether the checks are overridable (based on permissions). A value of NO means the check will not present an override option even if the user has permissions.

NO/ADMIN

Indicates whether the current user has the ability to continue WITHOUT an override. This will always be NO when the value of Potential override is NO. A value of ADMIN means the check is based on admin permissions for the user.

YES/NO

Indicates whether the check is presented as a warning with an option to stop or continue (value = YES), or as an issue that prevents the check from passing (value = NO). This setting is only utilitsed when the Potential override setting is NO.

YES/NO

Indicates whether a CREDIT LIMIT check is performed.

YES/NO

Indicates whether a CREDIT TERMS check is performed.
